Equipment

  • Wooden Board or serving platter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green pitted olives
  • 1/2 cup mixed salami
  • 1/2 cup prosciutto ham
  • 1 pack gorgonzola blue cheese
  • 2 cups cheese balls
  • 1 ripe apple sliced
  • 1 ripe pear sliced
  • 2 ripe figs quartered
  • 2 cups grapes
  • 1 8" italian baguette sliced
  • 2 cups crackers

Instructions

  • Gather and cut all ingredients.
  • First Step: add structure by placing items that can be stacked onto the board, small bowls with olives.
  • Second Step: Now add the cheeses and cured meats. Arrange the cheeses evenly leaving room to cut pieces of cheese. Place the meat slices next to the cheeses, to encourage your guests to pick and eat them together.
  • Third Step: Add crackers and bread slices between the meats and cheeses, stacking into each other on a row
  • Fourth Step: Finish with fruits filling any gaps in the board with fruits pieces and herbs.

Notes

If doing your charcuterie ahead of time, brush apples and pears lightly with lemon juice to avoid browning.
