- 1 1/4 cup fresh strawberries hulled and quartered
- 1/4 cup passion fruit flesh with seeds
- 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
Put a saucer into the freezer. This will help to check the jam’s perfect texture.
Bring a medium saucepan at medium heat. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil, then turn the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid burning. When stirring, press the strawberries with the spoon.
To check the perfect texture of jam, take 1 teaspoon of jam and add to the edge of the saucer and tilt it slightly. The jam should trickle slowly like a gel. If too fast, cook for a few minutes more and test it again. The saucer must be cold for the trick to work.
Serve, or transfer the jam to a clean, dried airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 2 months.
