- 1 tablespoon chamomile flowers
- 1 cup plain flour sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda sifted
- 2/3 cup white chocolate chopped
- 7 tablespoons butter melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 medium egg
Preheat the oven to 360º F / 180 C.
To a large bowl, stir together the plain flour, chamomile flowers, and baking soda and reserve.
To another bowl, add the melted butter with sugar, egg and mix well.
Add the wet mixture to the dried ingredients and mix well with a spatula. Add the chocolate pieces or chips and mix to coat.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the dough balls far from each other. Bake in the oven for 6-8 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to cooking rack to cool to room temperature.
- Always choose a good quality chocolate that lists cocoa butter as the first ingredient.
- We prefect under baked cookies for a chewy and soft texture. The cookies will be fragile right off the oven, but they will harden as it cools.
- If you allow cookies more time in the oven, they will be more browned and crispy.
