Notes

  • Use a variety of textures: To make your granola cookies interesting and flavorful, use a variety of textures in your recipe. For example, you can add crunchy nuts, chewy dried fruits, and smooth chocolate chips. This will create a balance of flavors and textures in your cookies.
  • Don’t overmix the batter: When making granola cookies, it’s important not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in tough, dense cookies. Mix the ingredients until just combined and then stop.
  • Use a cookie scoop: Using a cookie scoop will ensure that your cookies are evenly sized, which is important for even baking. A cookie scoop will also make the process faster and less messy. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
